New European Pesticide Legislation: Impact on Turf Management

The European Golf Course Owners Association (EGCOA) signed an agreement of co-operation with the Club Managers Association of Europe (CMAE) during the European Golf Business Conference. Being a member of the EGCOA means you are also a associate member of the CMAE which provides you with the following benefits:
1) EGCOA member clubs can send their managers or owners to attend any of the CMAE workshops, seminars and conferences at preferential prices.
2) EGCOA member clubs will receive the CMAE newsletter.

STRI has been retained as an official business partner by the European Golf Course Owners Association (EGCOA). The agreement was reached and signed at the European Golf Business Conference 2007, organised and hosted by the EGCOA, in Amsterdam. STRI specialises in the supply of consultancy and research services to the golf industry, designed to improve the quality of playing surfaces on the course. Currently, 10 per cent of STRI’s client portfolio are based in continental Europe and the institute’s CEO, Gordon McKillop is keen to see an increase in that figure.
