Club Car, the world’s leading manufacturer of golf cars and utility vehicles, embarked on an interesting adventure this summer. In partnership with Visit Wales, Club Car provided a vehicle to a Welshman and an American who travelled through 15 villages in Wales.

The final programme for the third European Golf Business Conference has been announced and it contains a sparkling line-up of guest speakers from across the golf industry.

Organised by the European Golf Course Owners Association (EGCOA), and taking place in Berlin from 5-7 November, the event promises enthusiastic debate and opinion on some of the golf industry’s hottest topics.

Four years after introducing the most advanced golf car in its history, Club Car has introduced two new models for 2008. Building on the huge success of the Precedent, which launched in 2004, company officials say the Precedent i2 represents the next generation in golf car innovation and performance.

Following the first reading of the EU Proposed Framework Directive on Pesticides, the mailing action of the EGCOA to all MEP’s seems to have been successful. The initial proposal was to ban the use of all pesticides in public area’s and sports pitches, which would also have affected Golf courses.
